I am new to email marketing and I am starting an email campaign for one of my sites with 1,500 subscribers that I have passively built over the last 10 months. I am sending out helpful tips in plain-text emails without any links back to my site. Next month I will have an eBook to sell, but I want to approach this in the least aggressive manner in order to maintain respect and loyalty of my subscribers and long-term site visitors.
